• Comment: Mr. Hale arrived promptly and immediately got started. While he was working upstairs, we were busy cutting a carpet remnant that we had found to fit a section at the foot of the stairs where no carpet was currently installed (only the pad). Jim noticed what we were doing, told us to hold on, ran out to the truck and grabbed a carpet stretcher, and proceeded to install the carpet for us! This was a small thing, but we were very impressed that he would make the extra effort to go beyond his job requirements and help us out. We tried to tip him for his work, and he refused to take it. It was a rare pleasure to see someone take pride in doing things right.
  Description of Work: In June 2008, we were in the process of purchasing a home that had been vacant for some time. Cats had been roaming freely in the house, and the result was that the carpet throughout the house was badly soiled. We weren't sure whether it would be worth the effort to have the carpet cleaned, or whether we should just rip them out, but the seller agreed to pay for us to attempt to have them cleaned. Mr. Hale was assigned to us through Dalworth's call center. He cleaned carpets throughout the house (3BR, 2.2BA, 2 WIC, 2 large rooms, and 2 smaller rooms. He added a pet/allergy/odercide treatment as well.
